A photo taken by Nava Thompson of a yellow butterfly viisting a garden of pink and white Cone flowers. These flowers were found on a hiking trail within the Crystal Bridges Museum trails in Bentonville, Arkansas.........................................Alice Walton, the daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton, spearheaded the Walton Family Foundation's involvement in developing Crystal Bridges. The museum's glass-and-wood design by architect Moshe Safdie (Boston, MA) and engineer Buro Happold (New York, NY) features a series of pavilions nestled around two creek-fed ponds. The complex, constructed by a joint venture of Linbeck Group (Houston, TX) and Nabholz Construction (Conway, Arkansas), includes 217,000 square feet (20,200 m2) of galleries, several meeting and classroom spaces, a library, a sculpture garden, a gift shop designed by architect Marlon Blackwell, a full service restaurant and coffee bar, named the Eleven after the day the museum opened "11/11/11".[2] Crystal Bridges al...

My story-- There's so much color, variety and fun in exploring nature and wildlife. The 'magic' of those moments have been captured and presented here for you to share and enjoy. I am more aware of God's paintbrush as I work with close up shots of birds in action and butterflies on flowers in the morning sun. Deer and Elk are outstandingly photogenic! They appear to have been outlined with a magic marker. Amazing -- isn't it? My dream is to continue to explore---chasing the rainbows and sunsets while searching for something new and exciting.
